History in the MakingWhen I first started out working on CTS Magazine, I geared-up hope to place my magazine with all the others on the stands and become a successful publisher and CEO of my company. I worked in overdrive with my staff to make my dream come true. I wanted to have professional writers, editors, and layout professors reading and laying the magazine out. Oh, yes, this included printing and the distribution. You get the picture? It was not simple, and no advertisers would come on board to help me. That meant I paid for it myself. Finally, I found a distributor called R.C.S. and after working with them, I knew I was on my way. No doubt in my mind, it was great seeing the magazine at 711 Stores but when it was time to get paid, there was nothing and CTS was just labeled as a new publication. I was hoping to break even and be able to pay the cost but I got entirely nothing, no money at all! I was so disappointed that I left the R.C.S. Company and went on line with CTS Magazine. I felt like a prostitute and they were my pimps.Going on line was a new concept for me but I was eager to try it; knowing that I would be totally in charge. About eight years ago, at the closing stage of pagers and the establishment of the cell phones with voice mail, I had an amazing unbelievable dream. In the dream I saw a flat object that looked nothing like I had ever seen before, but in the dream, I held it in my hand and saw all types of images. It featured TV ads, news reports, TV shows, photos, and even played music. It merely blew-my-mind and when I woke up, it was so real to me. I explained to my family and friends what I had dreamed. My nephew drew a picture of what I had described to him. It was the new Smart Cell Phone; that you see today. I had an amazing glance into the future. Not having a name for it, I called it the “Cell Vision” because that was the best and only way that I could describe what I had seen in the dream.
Unable to comprehend why I had the dream, or what good it was going to do for me anyway, I continued working on CTS Magazine; trying to get support to position it online. In the meantime, the internet was booming and MySpace and others like them were taking over globally. YouTube took management over the internet and the cell phones did to; by texting, sending photos and ring tones.
Nonetheless, our global world wasn’t prepared for the unbelievable-bombshell-shocker. When thanks to YouTube; the Blackberry came up with an AMP that made it possible to watch videos for the first time on your cell phone. Now, you can see videos on your phone but when I first saw the cell phone, I screamed because it was exactly what I saw in the dream. I had tears in my eyes and I said to God, “Why would You show me a revelation like that, it can’t help me at all, why?” But later on, it was revealed to me that the magazine I had was showing me new information and the most up-to-date way to produce my own magazine. Currently, you can watch “CTS Video Magazine” on your cell phone but just five years ago, it couldn’t be done.
The name that came to me was “A Video Magazine” It was then that I realized the printed magazines would progressively depart this life. I saw the Future and the Future is Now! So I took this new concept straightforwardly to the teens; the very ones that brought the most powerful record companies to their knees; by downloading their favorite songs on iTunes. Bringing this concept to them is a no brainer (watching a video on their cell phone). Teens are standing by geared up for new ideas. My video magazine that presently moves on the cell phone was arranged precisely for them. I recognize that this inspirational idea came to me from God.
At this time, departure from R.C.S. Publishing Company and up to now, introducing the biggest idea seems unreal to me. All of my entire existence, I have dreamed of being the 1st at doing something incredible. Wow! My prayers were answered.
And as the printed magazine continues to expire, CTS Video Magazine will have only just begun and you will observe others copying our concept all-around-the-world. And absolutely No-One can ever deny that it was “CTS’ Video Magazine” that set the world on roaring-fire!
